BE BRAIDED was founded by Omara van den Berg in 2018. Braiding, for her, started as a result of a love for natural hair since childhood and developed into a skill in which she now has grown 18 years of expertise.

After 5 years of lovingly serving clients, BE BRAIDED decided to take a more conscious approach to braiding by eliminating the use of plastic extentions in 2023. Taking her love for natural hair, she aims to remind others of their natural beauty while also taking better care of the planet.
